Christopher 'Kit' Carson Fancher and his younger sister were two of 17 surviving children of the Mountain Meadows Massacre in UT, 9/11/1857. They were the children of Capt. Alexander and Eliza Ingram Fancher, who were slain in the massacre along with 118 brave souls on the Fancher-Baker wagon train on their way from AR to CA. He suffered much from what he had witnessed as a 5 year old and died young taking his own life.
