 Mt. Sherman School Document, Dist. No. 48 Newton County, Arkansas
Sent to me by my cousin Marge Cathcart. Her Grandmother Cora Belle Barr (who was married to Jeremiah 'Jerry' Brown) and my Grandma Spencer (Mary Arzelia Barr) were sisters. The school officers listed at the top are John Samuel Spencer (my gg-uncle), Burl Kilgore (who married my great aunt Julia Victoria Spencer) and Hugh Raney (who married Daisy Loretta Brown, a 2ClR on my Spencer side.) The item is not dated, but would have been around the 1912-1915 time frame.
