Claude Carlton: Managed Diamond Cave and Skate Rink. He was son of Columbus Franklin Carlton and Martha Waters. Claude was born January 28, 1903, Newton County, Arkansas; he died May 9, 1988 and was buried in Union Hill Cemetery, Newton County.

Hey Judy, I have a web page of the cave from just a couple of years ago when some of our bunch went to look around. The page is messed up a little due to my moving around things. As, soon as I get it fixed I'll send you the link and you can have all the pictures you want. Here's one of my son, Dylan. I love this picture. I have it blown up and framed in my livingroom. The pictures were taken 9-27-03.

a Dr. McFerrin. If that is correct, it was probably Dr. John Orestus McFerrin (1 Feb 1871-25 May 1945) of Jasper.
