Infant Kaidence Lynn Baugus died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Roger Baugus.

Survivors include her mother, Debra Baugus; grandparents, Gary and Diana Gregory of Clarskville; brother, Cameron Patterson of Clarsksville; sister, Kendra Baugus of Clarksville; aunts and uncles, Erick and Kathey Gregory, Janice and Seth Schubarth, and Jamie Gregory; and cousins, Jesalyn and Zach Schbarth.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Roller-Cox Chapel in Clarksville. Burial will be at Rosetta Cemetery near Salus.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Gregory, Eric Gregory, Preston Hubbard, Michael Vaughn, Kyle Graae and Seth Schubarth. Arrangements are by Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.

Mansford C. Sims, 84, of Compton, died Sunday, March 12 (2006) at Marble Falls. Funeral was 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 at County Line Baptist Church at Compton with Rev. Mitchell Rains officiating. A gathering and a meal was held at the church following the funeral service. Burial was in Plumlee Cemetery under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home of Harrison.

He was born Aug. 23, 1921 at Compton, a son of the late Earl and Essie Newberry Sims.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Genieve Sims; brothers, Floy Sims and Donald sims and sisters, Doris June Sims and Bernice Brisco.

Survivors include a son, Edward Sims of Compton; two daughters, Wanda Roudabush of Compton and Voneda Kellett of Marble Falls; brothers, Arthur Sims of Compton and C.J. Sims of Harrison; sisters, Elda Carter of Little Rock, Betty Villines, Willadean Villines, Earline Villines and Bessie Brisco all of Compton; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Treat, Joshua Tuttle, Bobby Brisco, Dale Villines, Steve Sims and Ronald Sims. Honorary pallbearers were Lynn Villines, Douglas Treat, Carson Sims and Darrell Villines.

Mrs. Rachel Willis
Esq. Matt Manley
Many are the hearts made sad by the deaths of Mrs. Rachel Willis, consort of Mr. J. S. Willis, and her brother, Esq. Matt Manley, of Martin township.

Mrs. Rachel Willis died of consumption on the 7th of March 1886. She was an affectionate wife and mother, a christian lady, loved and respected by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and three children.

Esq. Matt Manley died on the 17th of March 1886, after an illness of ten or twelve days, he was a good citizen, noble and generous hearted, he leaves a wife and four children.
Both were buried in Rushing Cemetery.

Miner Killed By Falling Rock
Tom McCool, 22 years old, was killed by falling rock at the Southern Anthracite Mines Friday morning. He ws employed as pump foreman, and had gone with a light to a driver who had gone in the dark. From some cause which remains a mistery, a large rock fell just as he reached the driver, and crushed his body and head, death resulting half an hour afterward.

McCool was a worthy young man, and was the principal support for his widowed mother, who lives on Big Piney. His remains were taken there for burial in the Rushing Cemetery.

Janie Rose Moore, 92 of Russellville died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A daughter of the late Lehman Joseph and Lucy Blanch Hill Lemley, she was born Dec. 25, 1912 in Russellville. She was a piano teacher and played the piano at the Dover Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was a member since she was 16 years old. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fread Elmer Moore; a son, David Lemley Moore; and two sisters, Elise Hill and Beth Nelson.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Helen Moore of Dover, a sister, Ruby Bartlett of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, David Bruce Moore of Oklahoma City, Okla., Linda Nordin of Dover, Leslie Ruth Moore of Siloam Springs and Lisa Cox of Dallas, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Lea Strain and Kevin Nordin, both of Dover, Somer Moore of Dardanelle and Holly Humphreeys of Fort Smith; and four great-great-granchildren.

Funeral will be 10 AM Friday at the Shinn Chapel by Rev. Redmond Eubanks. Burial will be in Rushing Cemetery near Dover by Shinn Funeral Service.

Eliza Margaret Moore
Died near Dover, April 7, 1896, Mrs. Eliza Margaret Moore, nee Trigg, consort of the late Amos Moore, aged 55 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Sister Moore professed faith in Christ in early life, and lived true to that faith as long as life lasted. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She leaves two children, Lewis and Ellen, who have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of relates and friends.
Buried Rushing Cemetery.

Graveside service will be at 2 PM Wednesday, June 10, at Rushing Cemetery by the Rev. Johnny Hickman for Walter A. Osburn, 32, of Russellville who was killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident on Marina Road (Highway 326).

Osburn was the son of the late Verlon and Rhoda Mason Osburn. He was a passenger in a car driven by Ronnie Eugene Shaddon, 24, of Route 1, Atkins. Shaddon ws critically injured in the accident and is hospitalized at Baptit Medical Center at Little Rock. He was repored in Critical condition late this morning in the hospital's intensive care unit.

The names of the two men were inadvertently transposed in a portion of a story about the accident in Monday's Courier Democrat.
