Robert Shaddon, 47 of Russellville died Friday June 4, 1971 in the Dardanelle Hospital. He attended the Assembly of God Church.
| Survivors include his wife Mrs Betty Lou Clark Shaddon, a daughter Miss Roselee Shaddon of the home, two stepsons James and Troy Shaddon of the home, three stepdaughters, Miss Laquitta Shaddon, Miss Brenda Shaddon and Miss Linday Lou Shaddon of Dover; five nephews and a niece. Kenneth 'K.W.' Waldron, 59, of Wasco, Calif., died November 12, 1994 in Bakersfield, Calif., after an extended illness. Born Nov. 23, 1994 in Ozark
he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Rebeth Cagle Waldron and the grandson of the late Edward 'Doc' and Pearl Ann
Long Waldron of Wasco and Arniel L. and Louisia Belt Cagle of Ozark.
| He was reared in Arkansas, Moving to McFarland, Calif., in 1952, then to Wasco in 1957. Waldron was a Corporal in the U.S. Marines, serving as a radio operator in Japan and Korea. He worked for Belridge, Kern Ridge Oil and Shell Oil for 30 years until retirement December 31, 1992, living between Wasco and Ozark. He was an artist, photographic and camera collector. He has been a member of BPO Elks Lodge in Wasco since 1973 and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6742. Survivors include his Wife, Mildred Phillips Waldron, formerly of Sallisaw, Okla.; two daughters, Anitta Denise Waldron of the home and Laurie L. Day of Bakersfield; one son, Kenneth Edward Waldron of Bakersfield; six sisters, Donna Shelton of Tulsa, LaMona Phillips of Wasco and Genell Crouch, Linda Watson, Judith Armstrong and Ermel Chancey, all of Ozark; one brother, Mack David Waldron of Ozark; and eight grandchildren, Brandy, Tiffany, Lee Edward and Jessica Waldron and Richard, Nickie, Dustin and Stephen Day. Memorial Services were held Nov. 15 at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Ross, Westside Family Fellowship Church,

| It is our sad duty to report the death of one of our best citizens, Samuel H. Brown, who departed this life Friday, February 16, at 2 o'clock, after a weeks illness of pneumonia. Mr. Brown was 58 years of age and is survived by eight children, six sons and two daughters, all being married except one. Mr. Brown's wife has been dead about two years. His remains were interred in Boiling Springs Cemetery.{c-d}

Mrs. Clara A. Edgemon, 86, of Coal Hill died Tuesday, May 21, 1974 at her home. She was the wife of the late Harve Edgemon.
| Survivors include a son, E. T. Edgemon of Coal Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Ladada Muldoon of Coal Hill; two brothers, Ben Bray of Coal Hill and George Bray of Louisiana; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Johnson of Clarksville and Mrs. Dale Hurst of Coal Hill; three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 PM Thursday at the First Baptist Church at Coal Hill by the Rev. Bill McIver. Burial will be in
Coal Hill Cemetery by Hardwicke Funeral Service.

After an illness of several weeks, William Daniel Green, in his eightieth year, died at 2:30 o’clock last Friday
afternoon at his home near Walkerville.
| Funeral and burial were conducted at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon at Mt. Pisgah cemetery, the Rev. J. B. Luck of this city officiating at the funeral. Nearest among the surviving relatives are six sons and three daughters, all of whom were present at his death and funeral. The sons are D. C. Green of Fanning Co., Texas; T. A. Green, Coley Green, Luther Green and William Green, all of Walkerville, and Ed Green of Kerlin. The daughters are Mrs. Walter Stewart and Mrs. Ella Moore of Walkerville and Mrs. Lillian Dennis of Fannin Co., Texas. Born in Mississippi Mr. Green came with his parents to Louisiana when he was about six years old. He saw military service in the Confederate army during the last year of the war. After coming to this state he was in the mill and gin business and operated a mercantile establishment for many years at Plainfield, near Walkerville. He became a member of the Missionary Baptist church at New Friendship when he was 18 years of age. In 1873 he was united in marriage to Miss Lillie Cora McRae, who died several years ago. {bn}

Rosetta Barber, 89, of Lamar died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Clarksville Convalescent Home. She had worked at the shoe
factory and was a member of Hagarville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. and May Warren Barber; and three sisters, Mary Ellen Barber, Flora Wilson and Anna Freeman.
| Survivors include two brothers, Bill Barber and wife, Hazel, of Owasso, Okla., and J.T. Barber and wife, Wilma, of Hagarville; and a sister, Wanda Crumrine and husband, Harold, of Hagarville. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with John Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Rosetta Cemetery by Roller-Cox Funeral Service. Active pallbearers include James Freeman, Vaughnon Freeman, Don McCall, Gary Barber, Mike Barber, James Hurst, Ronnie Crumrine Jr., Bobby Freeman, Ronnie Crumrine Sr. and Leland Freeman. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Friday.

Pauline Underdown, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas was born July 21, 1930 at Osage, Arkansas a
daughter of Abe and Pearle (Shrum) Hobbs. She departed this life Saturday, March 12, 2005 in Berryville, Arkansas at the age of 74.
| Mrs. Underdown was a homemaker. She is survived by her two sons, David Underdown of Green Forest and Jerry Underdown of Alpena, Arkansas; her daughter, Joyce Disheroon of Green Forest; a brother, Clyde Hobbs of Green Forest; four sisters, Ardene Coffman of Idaho, Dorothy Whiteley of Springdale, Arkansas, Eva Madewell of Salinas, California and Zel Hadley of Bentonville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. On August 23, 1948 she was united in marriage with Noah Underdown who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents and two sisters. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Plumlee Cemetery with Pastor Gaylord Finch officiating. Interment will follow in the Plumlee Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
