Robert Lee Waldron, 75, of Star Route 2, Ozark, died Wednesday, January 19, 1983 at St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center after being injured in an accident on Highway 219 north of Ozark. Born January 28, 1907, in Lawton Okla., he was the son of Edward and Pearlie Ann Long Waldron. He was a retired construction worker and was non-denominational.

Survivors include his wife, Rebeth Cagle Waldron; six daughters, Donna Shelton of Tulsa, Okla., LaMona Joyce Phillips, of Wasco, Calif., Tresa Genell Crouch, Linda Lou Watson and Judith Annette Armstrong all of Ozark, and Ermel Lee Chancey of Worme Germany; two sons Mack David Waldron of Ozark, and Kenneth Marvin Waldron of Wasco, Calif., five sisters, Ethel Gresham, Marie Kirby, both of Wasco, Calif., and Julia Dotson of Woodland, Calif., Gladys Woodring of Springdale and Jean of Stigler, Okla., three brother, Art Waldron, of Shafter Calif., Doyle Waldron of Sacramento, Calif., and Raymond Waldron of Noble, Okla; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church , with Rev. John Matthews officiating. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery by Shaffer Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Herbert Watson, Curly Bankston, Richard Doss and Ed Cagle, active; and Buddy Moran, George Brison, Stoney Crouch, Alex Nichols, J.W. Armstrong, Grady Chancey Sr. and Dillard Watson. {os} Family Contact: LaMona Phillips

Mrs. Henry Bailey (Sallie) December 27, 1900
Mrs. Henry Bailey died at her home near Hector Monday, Dec. 17th aged about 50 years. Burial ceremonies were conducted at Boiling Springs campground the following day.

Deceased left a husband, and several children, of whom Dr. J. L. Bailey is the oldest, to mourn the loss of a kin and loving wife and mother. {rc} Submitted by: Lina Boyd

John Samuel Shaddon, 54 of Dover died Monday July 3, 1967 at Little Rock Hospital. He was a native of Scott County, the son of the late Myrtle Mason Shaddon, and was a farmer and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Mrs Hazel Ann Hurst Shaddon, his father Henry Shaddon of Dover. Five sons, Eugene, Chester, Edward, Boyce, and Cecil Shaddon all of Dover, a daughter Mrs Sylvia Litsey of Dover, a brother Robert Shaddon of DOver and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral service at 2 p.m. today at Rushing Cemetery by the Rev. Dwayne Pritchard Assemble of God Minister Burial was by Cornwell Funeral Service.

Jo Anne Fowler, 71, of Alma died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at her home. A native of Hartman, she was a retired employee of Sensor Medic, and a member of Concord Baptist Church of Van Buren and the church choir.

Survivors include her husband, J. H. Fowler; two sons, Steven Jay Fowler of Port Orchard, Wash., and Paul Fowler of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Coffman of Fletcher, Okla., and Mada Castro of Ricon, N. M.; one brother, James Estes of St. Cloud, Minn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was at Gill Cemetery.

Edward J. Sharp, 82, of Fayetteville died Aug. 2, 2000, at Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 25, 1918, in Corinth, Miss., to William DeMoore Sharp Sr. and Minnie Mae Huff Sharp. He was a carpenter at Brunswick Corp. before his retirement and was an Army and Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a life member of the VFW in De Soto, Kan.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Sharp; one sister, Minnie Lee Trevino of Tuscumbia, Ala.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Arrangements are by Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. {mn}

Lewis Wayne Fairchild, 49, of Fort Smith died Nov. 30, 1998, at Sparks Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 23, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Bill and Francis Lenora Beddingfield Fairchild. He was a life resident of the area and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his parents of Rogers; two sons, Tim Fairchild of Centerton and Kelly Fairchild of Rogers; two brothers, Jerry Fairchild of Lenoir, Tenn., and Reid Fairchild of Rogers; four sisters, Pat Fairchild, Faye Bradrick, Jean Fairchild, all of Rogers, and Edy Putt of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers with Fred Agee officiating. Burial will be in Oaks Cemetery, north of Bentonville, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. {mn}

Lewis Scott Burch, 95, of Hector died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000 at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville. He was born Sept. 29, 1905 at Scottsville to Sam and Bell Sinclair Burch. He was a retired auto mechanic and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Burch was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Burch, and an infant daughter.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Boyce and Norma Burch of Hector; one daughter, Shirley Donnally of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.

Funeral will be at 2 PM today at the Humphrey Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Charles King. Burial will be in the Boiling Springs Cemetery at Hector under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. {rc}

A graveside services for Marvin Bolding, 68, of Mountain Home will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery in Buford. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. today at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Mr. Bolding died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006.

He is survived locally by his wife, Wilma Bolding; and one son, Scott Bolding; and one daughter, Phyllis Mitchell. {bb}
