Daphney Deller Kyle, 80, of Springdale died Friday, May 25, 2001, at Fayetteville City Hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1920, at George, Ark., the daughter of Walter Sherman and Biddie Howerton Stamps. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everet R. Kyle.

Survivors include a son, John Kyle of Fayetteville; a daughter, Leah Kyle of Springdale; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery. {mn}

Funeral services for William Kenneth 'Ken' Blair, 85, of Twin Oaks, Okla., were held March 11, 2006 at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., with his nephew, Roy Lee Criswell, and the Rev. Lance Rogers officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs. Mr. Blair died March 9, 2006 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs. He was born Dec. 21, 1920 in Noble, the son of H.J. Blair and Katherine Meares Blair. He lived most of his early years in Purcell, working with Dee and Eunice Johnson on their ranch. Mr. Blair was drafted into the Army in 1940 and was a veteran of World War II. He was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge and Hurricane Forest. He was decorated many times, receiving two Bronze Medals and the Purple Heart. After returning from the war, he continued living with the Johnson’s in the Siloam Springs area where he enjoyed raising Limousine cattle. In 2004 he met and married Helen and they enjoyed working to build a beautiful home together. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Blair of Washington and seven sisters, among them Gertye Criswell of Purcell and a foster brother, Harold Enox. Survivors include his wife, Helen M. Blair, of the home; one foster brother, Dale Blisard and many nephews and nieces. Pallbearers were Bruce Enox, Lennen Gunsaulis, Charlie Thurman, Rex Blisard, Jimmy Criswell and Aaron Criswell. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Blisard, Harold Criswell, Leon Butts, Evert Andrews, Gerald Grover and Carter Smith.

Hill Everett, 91, of Huntsville, died May 17, 2001 at Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fayetteville. He was born June 16, 1909 at Alabam, Arkansas, the son of George Larking and Florence Dicy Presley Everett. He was the former owner of Huntsville Truck and Implement, has served on the Board of Directors of Huntsville First national Bank for 45 years and was a farmer and avid gardener. He was a member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church, Huntsville Lodge #364, Free and Accepted Masons for more than 50 years and the Huntsville Chapter #154, Royal Arch Masons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lucille Parker Everett on June 24, 1971.

Survivors include: one son Charles Everett of Springdale, Arkansas; two daughters, Janice Canup of Springdale and Anna Homes of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 21 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home at Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Masonic Rites were by Huntsville Lodge #364, Free and Accepted Masons.

Agnes Florene Johnson, 81, of Seneca, Mo., formerly of Pettigrew, died Jan. 11, 2002, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. She was born Jan. 5, 1921, at Fallsville to Isaac Edward and Lillie Wages Hawley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Johnson, on Nov. 28, 1987.

Survivors include three sons, Henry Marlow and his wife, Carla Johnson, of Kansas City, Mo.; Irwin Everette and his wife, Sandra Johnson, of Seneca, Mo., and Robert Floyd and his wife, Nellie Johnson, of Lamar; one daughter, Priscilla White of Witter; six brothers, Herbert Hawley of Tahuya, Wash., Thomas Hawley and Henry Hawley, both of Springdale, Joe Hawley of Siloam Springs, Ira Hawley of Elkins and Monroe Hawley of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Mary Kennedy of Aurora, Mo., Dorothy Hill of Neosho, Mo., Kathleen Parsons of Springdale; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Elmarene Van Curen, 75, of Ponca, AR died Saturday, March 24, 2001 in Harrison, AR She was born June 21, 1925 in Boxley, AR to Harry and Ersa Farmer Primrose. Mrs. Van Curen was a resident Newton County and a former resident of Kansas City, MO. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Mt. Springs, AR and Bible Study Fellowship for 6 years. She was a homemaker. She was precede in death by her parents, her husband, Orbie Van Curen, a daughter, Patricia Villines, 3 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Survivors include 1 son, Eldon Van Curen of Fayetteville, AR, 4 daughters, Darlene Parker, Ponca, AR, Linda Sitton, Harrisonville, MO, Barbara Crocker, Carthage, MO, Sylvia Wildman, Bella Vista, AR; 1 brother, Gene Primrose, Blue Springs, MO; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Ivon B. Adams of Harrison died Saturday April 1, 2000 at Hilltop Nursing Center in Harrison. She was 95. Mrs Adams was born Nov 30, 1904 to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burnes.

She married Clyde Adams on Mar 19, 1920 and worked as a housewife. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by two daughters: Helen Rainbolt, Anna Mae Tabor both of Harrison; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Elba Burnes; her husband Clyde Adams; one son, Hugh; one granddaughter, Robin Rainbolt Fulp; one great granddaugher, Jennifer Green; three great grandsons, four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville. Services will be 2 p.m. Tues at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Layton Cemetery in Yellville.

Pallbearers are Billy Pyle, Ron Proctor, Terry Gray, Seth Gray, Brett Gray and Justin Dearing. Homer Lee Adams, 86, of Berryville died February 25,1994, at Rogers Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 30, 1907, in Fordville, Ky., the son of Ben and Jallie Frances Evans Adams. He was a truck driver for Tommy Humphrey's and was a Pentecostal. He moved to the area 30 years ago from Kentucky.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Adams of Campbellsville, Ky.; one brother, Aubrey Adams of Rogers; three sisters, Hazel Jones, Loretta Andrews and Leva Keeran, all of Rogers; three grandsons.

William Eber Barnes, 81, of Springdale died May 26, 2001, at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 5, 1920, at Copeland (Van Buren County) to O. Elmer and Bessie Hodges Barnes. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific in 1941.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Emerson Barnes of the home, to whom he was married in 1944; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Barnes and April of Cut Off, La.; four brothers, E. Quinton Barnes of Springdale, J.B. Barnes and Raymond Barnes, both of Prineville, Ore., and Darrell Barnes of Springdale; one sister, Reda Mae Paharam of Oklahoma; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lizzie K. Parker, 81, of Rt. 2, Huntsville, died Oct. 1, 1984 at her home. She was born June 12, 1904 at Kingston, the daughter of Bee and Gertrude Combs Stamps. She was a Presbyterian and the widow of Albert Dalton Parker, who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1968.

Survivors include three sons, James D. Parker and J. B. Parker, both of Huntsville and Rex B. Parker of Williamstown, N.J.; four brothers, Otto Stamps and Combs Stamps, both of Kingston, Jess Stamps of Chelan, Wash. and Eldred Stamps of Berryville; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Kingston Community Church with the Rev. Harold DuVall officiating. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Allie Mae Fifer, 97, of Yukon died May 28, 2001, at Quail Creek Nursing Home in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born Sept. 9, 1903, in Huntsville to Jacob Allen and Mary Belle Parks Fifer. She was a retired secretary for the Army Corps of Engineers in Tulsa, Okla.

She is survived by nephews and nieces.

Garland O. Gardner, 79, of Farmington died May 21, 2001, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Stilwell, Okla., to Orange and Sarah Watkins Gardner. He was retired from the Washington County Road Department. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW and Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Justine Sasser Gardner of the home; one son, Eugene Gardner stationed at Jacksonville AFB in North Little Rock; one daughter, Linda Wilhite of Farmington; two brothers, Pat Gardner of Springdale and Jess Gardner of Elkins; two sisters, Edna King of West Fork and Betty Faulkner of Huntsville; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Arnold Edgmon, 81, of Fayetteville died Oct. 9, 2001, at Fayetteville. He was born Sept. 25, 1920, in Mossville to Phillman and Pennie Lamrr Edgmon. He was a member of East Side Christian Union Church in Springdale and was retired from Dold Food Co. of Wichita, Kan. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Pearly Watson Edgmon of the home, to whom he was married Dec. 22, 1940; one daughter, Bonnie Westerfield of White Water, Kan.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Edgmon of Lowell.

Truman Kyle Bowlin, 89, of Fayetteville died Dec. 18, 1999, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 25, 1910, at Clifty to Bill and Rosetta Gibson Bowlin. He was retired from Campbell Soup Co. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Sarah Irene Bowlin, on May 5, 1997.

Survivors include two sons, William Clifford Bowlin and Harley Gordon Bowlin, both of Fayetteville; four daughters, Rosalee Turner, Ethel Marie Lackey, Mary Zachary and Ola Jean Warford, all of Fayetteville; one sister; Ola Dowell of Henning, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one greet-great grandchild.

Helen Louise O'Neal, 67, of Springdale died May 19, 2001, at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Logan County, near Paris, to Horace and Jewell Sikes. She moved to the Springdale area in 1944. She was a previous owner of the Elmdale Bait Shop and the Elmdale Cafe.

Survivors include four brothers, R.H. Sikes, J.D. Sikes and L.C. Sikes, all of Springdale, and Danny Sikes of Hot Springs; four sisters, Juanita Apon and Marcia Baker, both of Springdale, Marietta Moore of Lowell and Emma Simpson of Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Deborah M. Baker.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elm Springs Cemetery, with the Rev. Glynn Trusty officiating.

Mrs. Ramona Ann Harderson, 54, of Ozone died Sunday, December 26, 1999, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Stepp Caldwell, member of Salus Free Holiness Church and an employee of Sara Lee Hosiery.

Survivors include her husband, Cordell Harderson; two daughters, Mary Lou Stepp of Russellville and Karen Bocksnick of Knoxville; three sisters, Corlie Harderson of Oark, Matilda Mahoney of Pennsylvania, and Josephine Osborne of New Hampshire; two brothers, Floyd Caldwell and Dale Caldwell, both of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Salus Free Holiness Church with Rev. Robert Boen and Rev. Carl Sory officiating.

Alfred T. Lau, 83, of Little Flock died May 11, 2001, at his home. He was born May 1, 1918, in Garner, Iowa, to William and Sena Blank Lau.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving on aircraft carriers the Hornet and the Lexington. He was an agent/operator for the Rock Island Railroad for many years in Iowa before moving to Rogers in 1978. He was a Methodist and enjoyed golfing, fishing, yard work and bird watching.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lau, to whom he was married 46 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alisa Sieckman and Gary of Ashland, Mo., and Linda Enos and Patrick of Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, Megan of Ashland and Willie of Reno; one brother, Leroy Lau.

Tina Harris, 104, of Huntsville died June 4, 2001, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born Oct. 20, 1896, in Madison County, near Huntsville, to Hosea Oliver and Nora Belle Carlock Reeves. She grew up on a farm on War Eagle Creek, near Hawkins Mill, and she was a Baptist and a homemaker. Her husband, Doyle Wythe Harris, died Aug. 10, 1971.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Virginia Stanphill of Huntsville and Vera Sisco and Thirl of Eugene, Ore.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, Paige Layne Stanphill of Tulsa, Okla.; one nephew and two nieces, including Ruby Tevebaugh of Springdale.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Huntsville Cemetery, with the Rev. Earl Dean Morris officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Stanphill, Bailey Stanphill, Jay Stanphill, Roger Case, Carroll Falls, Travis Falls and Nathan Falls. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. {mn}

Longtime Oologah, Okla, resident and postal clerk Ethel Eleanor Moore died Sept. 10, 1999 at home. She was 84 years old.

Ethel was born Feb. 14, 1915 in Marble, Arkansas to Lester Cline and Margaret (Jack) Cline. She married Fred Moore on March 4, 1940. Two children were born to this union, Marilyn Sue (Moore) Mayfield and Jerry Fred Moore.

Ethel taught school in Arkansas for six years and spent 29 years in the post office as postmaster in Arkansas and postal clerk in Oologah.

The family moved to Oologah in 1955 and built a farm west of town. Ethel was an active member of the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. She was an avid hunter and loved to fish.

Ethel passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, and her daughter, Sue.

She is survived by her husband, Fred of the home, son Jerry and wife Marcia of Talala, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Bill Cline of Tulsa OK sisters Doris Allred and Mary Lou Tice of Huntsville, and Dorothy Lawson of Pomona, CA She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held Sept. 13 with interment following at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah. {mcr}

Icie V. Case, 87, of Springdale died February 8, 1998, at a local nursing home. She was born April 6, 1910, in Low Gap to Henry and Mary Frakes Adams. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was retired from Arbor Acres Hatchery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Case; one daughter.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Rankin of Annapolis, Md., Susie Johnson and Ruby Cline, both of Springdale; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Temple Babtist Church with the Reb. Don Elmore and The Rev. Dale Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. today at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.

James Carl Armer, 79, of Kingston, Arkansas, died at his home on May 26, 1997. He was born March 21, 1918, at Kingston, the son of Nelson and Lizzie Nail Armer. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County, a farmer and a member of the Elkhorn Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, W.T. Armer.

He is survived by his wife of 55 Years, Velda Armer of the home; one son, Junior Armer and daughter-in-law, Billie Armer of Kingston; one sister, Ethel Moore of Springdale; one granddaughter, Julia Jackson and her husband David Jackson of Kingston.

Services were held at 2 p.m Wednesday, May 28 at the Kingston Community Church with Dearl Wilson, minister, officiating. Interment was in the Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Christeson's Funeral Home.

Dorwin Sparks, 77, of Jasper, died Sunday, October 22, 2000 in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral was 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 25th at Coffman Chapel in Jasper, Arkansas with Bobby Young officiating. Burial in Mossville Cemetery.

Dorwin was born November 7, 1922 at Murray, Arkansas, the son of the late Dell and Mable Willis Sparks. He returned to Arkansas in 1991, after living in Idaho. He had been a fireman, carpenter, welder, plumber and electrician.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dotha Sparks and a brother. Survivors are two sons, Eddie Dorwin Sparks of Battle Mountain, Nevada and Steven Wayne Sparks of Fayetteville, Georgia; a daughter, Donna Sue Goodrow of Grand Junction, Colorado; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Marie Tate, 86, of Clarksville died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, widow of Joe A. Tate, daughter of the late Thomas and Nelly Kimple Ricketts, and was preceded in death by one son, Elick E. Tate; one sister, Nannie Ricketts; and two brothers, Roy Ricketts and Willis Ricketts.

She is survived by five daughters, Betty L. Tate, Goldie M. Stewart, Dolly I. Sinor, and Lorean K. Brasfield, all of Clarksville, and Ruby J. Fowler of Ozark; four sons, Joe Lee Tate Jr. of Clarksville, Loyd A. Tate and Paul E. Tate, both of Ozone, and Guy L. Tate of Lamar; one sister, Flora Pincomb of Vernon, Mich.; 32 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Ozone Full Gospel Church with Rev. Charles R. Boone officiating. Burial will be in Case Cemetery at Fallsville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

She was born at Parthenon on April 23, 1912, a daughter of John Willis and Mary Breedlove Martin. She was a resident of Jasper, a homemaker, and a member of Jasper First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Searle A. Reynolds, one son Coy Reynolds, two sisters, three brothers and a great-granddaughter.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Reynolds of Wichita, Kansas and Eddie Reynolds of Jasper, Arkansas, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services were Wednesday, January 17 at Jasper First Baptist Church with Rev. Mauel Macks officiating. Burial was in Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Trent Buckley, John Reynolds, Randy Jones, Kevin Reynolds, Aaron Jenks and Mike Junks. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Mahlon Maris, Buster Waters, Buddy Davis, Opal and Gilbert Jenks, Jerry and Nancy Brasel. {nct}

Eilene Manen, 76 of Ponca, Arkansas passed away Sat. April 7, 2001 at her home. She was born Nov. 20, 1924 at Wayton, Arkansas a daughter to Tom and Martha Pallie Youngblood Harris. She was a homemaker and a loving dedicated mother and had lived most all her life in Newton Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepson, Gary Manen and a brother, Rufus Harris. A Husband Floyd Ramsey and a husband J.D. Compton.

Survivors are her husband Noel Manen of Ponca; 5 sons, Arnold (Dock) Ramsey, Bob Ramsey and Bill Ramsey all of Parthenon; James Compton of Jasper and Jiggs Compton of Moberly Mo. 4 stepsons: Jimmy Manen of Houston Tx, Larry Manen of Harrison, Richard Manen of Jasper, and Allen Manen of Compton. 8 daughters: Alice Hanna, Louise Brazeal and Betty Gaddis all of K.C. Ks.; Lavern Lawson of Mt. Home, Ar, Carol Brazeal of Pleasant Hill, Mo, Janice Turley of Shiloh, Judy Willey of Harrison, and Karen Walker of Athens, Tn. 8 brothers: Robert Loyd Harris of Humansville, Mo, Loyal Riley Harris of Flemington, Mo, Marvin Harris and Jessie Harris of K.C. Ks, Lonnie Earl Harris of Kokoma, Indiana, Arlis Gene of Harrison, Ar, Edgar Harris of Collins, Mo. and James Harris of Arma Kansas; 3 sisters: Dorothy Vanderpool of Jasper, Ark, Elvie Cain of Louisburg, Ks. and Susie Champlin of Cave City, Ar. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services were held at the Mossville United Baptist Church Tue. 11:00am 4-10-2001 Officiating was Rev. David Stratton.

15 Aug 1912 WELL KNOWN PHYSICIAN DEAD
Dr. B. F. Avery of Dover died Saturday morning very suddenly, having been in his usual good health up to the time he was taken sick Friday night. He at a hearty dinner on Friday and was taken ill during the afternoon. Dr. Avery was about sixty years old and had been practicing physician at Dover for a number of years.

Resolution of Respect - Brother Avery was born on Nov 8, 1850 at Atlanta, Ga. and departed this life August 9, 1912, in Pope County, near Dover, Ark. He was twice married, first to Miss Cordelia Donehoe, of Atlanta, Ga., who preceded him to the Great Beyond, and afterward to Miss Dora Tate of Pope County, Arkansas, who remains behind to mourn his death.

Dr. Avery was made a mason by Dover Lodge on the 2nd day of April 1904, and lived a loyal and enthusiastic member of the fraternity throughout the remainder of his life.

Died, August 15, 1911 at his home in Siloam Springs Arkansas, James Harvey Carl, in the eighty-fifth year of his age. The deceased was born August 24, 1926 near Hillsboro, Tennessee. In 1838 his father and family came to Franklin county, Arkansas and located twelve miles above Ozark. Here his devoted christian mother died in the following year. In 1841 his father and family moved to Benton County and located on Osage creek near Bentonville. In the fifteenth year of his age he professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior and united with the C. P. Church, in which church he held membership until the reunion and union of the C. P. and U. S. A. Presbyterian Churches, when he went with his church back into the mother church. He was thrice married.

First to Martha L. Woods of Tennessee, to whom were born seven children, three sons and two daughters still living, honored and respected, two having gone before. His second marriage was to Mrs. Martha Appleby, who died childless. His third marriage was to Miss A. A. Woods, who survives him. All his conjugal relations were very happy. His church, which he so long and efficiently served will miss him; Siloam Springs and community, which he loved and whose best interest, spiritual and temporal, he ever sought, will miss him; his beloved companion in her loneliness, and the dear children and children's children, his aged brother and sister, all nearing the end of their earthly pilgrimage, will miss him. Eternity alone will reveal th e blessedness of this life which has gone out from us and entered int o the life above. May the all sufficient grace of the blessed Lord abundanly rest upon the bereft companion and kindred all.

William Wiley Gibson, 71 of Siloam Springs died Monday, Dec 27, 1993 at his home in Siloam Springs. Born may 28, 1922, in Albuquerque, N.M., he was the son of Harry H. Gibson and Calle jane Suiter Gibson. Mr. Gibso was a retired oil field superintendent. He had been a resident of Siloam Springs since 1986, moving from Texas. Mr. Gibson was a Mason, World War II veteran and a Methodist. He married Dixie Monger on Aug 19, 1944, in Siloam Springs.

Survivors include his wife Dixie Mounger Gibson of the home, one son, Greg Gibson of the home; one daughter, jAnnetta Rich of Weatherford, Texas; six brothers, Harry Gibson of Siloam Springs, Lloyd Gibson of Rancho Heights, N.M., Jack Gibson of Sacremento, Calif., Mack Gibson of Bryan, Texas: Pete Gibson of Auburn Calif., and Danny Gibson of Oceanside, Calif.; one sister, Barbara Nance of Wichita, Kan.; one half-sister, Garnett Manning of Houston, Texas and three grandchildren, Tammy Mosley of Bull Shoals, Ark., Debbie Farley of Kansas City, Mo., and Brian Gibson of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Phil Misenheimer officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery with services under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs. Pallbearers were Jim Robason, Bob Nance, Harry Gibson, Rex Robrahn, Lloyd Gibson, Mack Gibson, and Orin Keck.

Mrs. Audie Carlton Edgmon, 92, of Mossville, died Saturday, January 2, 1999, at Deer. She was a native of Pettigrew, daughter of the late Theo and Etta Hammond Carlton, widow of Ell Edgmon, and charter member of the Mossville United Baptist Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Marilyn Bennett of San Lorenzo, Calif., Modena Stevens of Stilwell, Okla., Betty Liggett of Deer, and Effie Gilmore of Ozone; one son, Jim Edgmon of Clarksville; two sisters, Elva Shelton of Fayetteville and Jewell Edwards of Santa Maria, Calif.; three brothers, Leonard Carlton of Cane Hill, Loren Carlton of Stilwell, Okla., and Robert Carlton of Wesley; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral held January 6, at the Mossville United Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Young and Rev. Dorlen Sparks officiating. Burial Mossville Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Richard Carlton, Elza Carlton, Randy Carlton, Reggie Carlton, Russell Sparks, and Robert Robinson. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons and granddaughters
