Marriage records are burned. James Jackson Barnes, known as J. J. Barnes, was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, son of Dempsey Barnes. He died in 1883, in the Campbell Community of Searcy County, Arkansas. The burial site is known as Barnes Graves. Malinda Brown was his first wife. His second wife was Eliza Begley, see that marriage record.
