Marriage records are burned. James Jackson Barnes, known as J. J. Barnes, was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, son of
Dempsey Barnes. He died in 1883, in the Campbell Community of Searcy County, Arkansas. The burial site is known as Barnes Graves.
Eliza was the second wife of James Barnes. J. J. Barnes was first married to Malinda Brown, see that marriage record.
