Newton County, Arkansas
A post office was established at Fallsville, June 27, 1883...with Alexander Dixon being the first post master. On November 12, 1849 a post office was established at Walnut Fork, the first post master was Job C. Christman. A post office was established at Cassville on January 10, 1868, Thomas H. Cass was first post master.
A post office was established at Capark July 21, 1886, William C. Priest was first post master. A post office was established at Ryker October 15, 1891, with Jacob A. Ryker as post master. A post office was established at Lanson September 21, 1900, wih Lanson P. Brown as post master.
