Note from Judy: If you would like to Thank CL and Lina Boyd for providing directions to Stone Tomahawk Cemetery, or if you would
like to thank Dan McGurie and Jack Keeling for what they have shared, simply click on
their names. You will be taken to a page where you will find their e-mail address, as well as an index of items that they have submitted to ARF.
Directions to cemetery, provided by CL and Lina Boyd:
Turn northeast on Highway 374 in St. Joe for .6 mile. Take County Road # 28 for 4.3 miles. Turn left on County Road # 32 for 1.3 miles. Turn left again and go less than .1 mile.
Thanks go to Dan McGuire and Jack Keeling
for providing several grave marker pictures. Jack Keeling writes: I can remember when you had to either walk from the
road or go by horse and wagon into the Tomahawk Cemetery. In 1951, when we buried my great granddad, we went in several pickup trucks so the casket and relatives could
ford the creek without getting wet (no kidding). There was no low water bridge then. In 2008, I could drive in.
If you would like to provide notes, pictures of individuals, obituaries, grave marker photos, or other info to be included here, or if you would like to be listed as a Family Contact...just let me know. Judy Tate
