On the 1850 census for Spadra Township in Johnson County, Arkansas, William McCord is a farmer age 44 years, his wife Charlotte is age 41 years. Son Francis Marion McCord is age 19 years, a stage driver born in Illinois. Daughter Martha, age 17 years, and daughter Mariah age 15 years, were also born in Illinois. Joseph, George, Thomas and 5 year old Sarah are recorded as being born in Arkansas.

On the 1860 census for Horsehead Township in Johnson County, Arkansas son George William McCord is head of household, Charlotte McCord is in the household, as well as Joseph, Thomas, and Sarah, who were named on the 1850 census. A Charles McCord, age 8 years, is also living in the household...I assume this is also a son of Charlotte.

Charlotte McCord is found in Spadra Township, District 92, on the 1880 census, living in the household of her son Joseph McCord.
