William A. Wyatt was born in Missouri. He married Louisa E. Hensley before 1850. Louisa was daughter of John Mack Hensley and Mary May. She was born 1832 in Tennessee, and died after 1886. William 'Bill' Wyatt was a farmer and merchant in Richland Township, Searcy County, Arkansas. The family came to Searcy County in the 1840s.

Children of William A. Wyatt and Louisa E. Hensley are:
i. Caroline Pocahotas Wyatt. She married Jacob Arnold.
ii. Mary Powhatan Wyatt. She married James M. Cash.
iii. Emma C. Wyatt was born 1850.
iv. Perry Lunsford Wyatt was born 1854.
v. Lillie Wyatt was born 1857. She married William Treadwell, son of William Jensen Treadwell and Melinda Jane Harness. He was born about 1850.
vi. Alice Wyatt was born 1857. She married Burtis Baker.
