Thomas 'Thompsy' William Harris
The Earliest Proven records I have found For Thompsy Harris is back to 1830. According to census records it appears that they have been in Arkansas since 1830, and possibly earlier. He was the son of John and Nancy Harris. John was born 1830 in Arkansas; Nancy was born June 1842 in Indiana. John died between 1890-1900 in Marion County, Arkansas; Nancy died between 1900-1910 in Marion County, Arkansas.

[5] Doyle F., b September 4, 1926; died September 10, 1926
(note: Doyle And Bert are buried in the Boston Pool Cemetery in Cleveland, Osage County, Oklahoma beside their grandparents. Thompsy and Sarah Harris, and cousin Zelma Witt)

James Luther remarried after Bertha's death, married Amanda Lou Baker; she was born December 27, 1901 in St. Joe, Arkansas. James Luther lived out on a farm near Blackburn, outside of Hominy, Oklahoma when he died. Bertha died February 26, 1967 Hominy, Oklahoma. James Luther died February 27, 1976 at Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Luther b June 7, 1898; d Feb 27, 1976 at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Bertha b March 14, 1901; d February 16, 1967 at Hominy, Oklahoma.

My Note:
By birth and death of children it appears they left Arkansas about 1922.

Jimmy (James) Witt was born Sept 9, 1895 and died Sept 1976 at Disney, Oklahoma, Mayes County
Fauby Harris Witt was born Oct 15, 1896 and died Oct 15, 1980 at Disney, Oklahoma, Mayes County
Both buried at Spavinaw Cemetery

The land for the The Boston Pool Cemetery was donated by Luther Harris. Also buried here are Thompsy and Sarah Harried and Zelma Witt (1916-1926)

Info from Herb 11-10-2003:
Moved to Pru, Oklahoma in 1915, then to Cleveland, Oklahoma. On the 1890 Tax list and special census Thompsy was listed as a property owner at the age of 16 at Yellville.
