James William 'Bud' Raines was born July 1, 1851 in Walker County, Alabama. He was the son of William Bailey and Elizabeth Kennymore Raines. Bud Married Hannah Loggains in 1876 in Marion County, Arkansas. Hannah was born October 1, 1848 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Major and Sarah Mullins Loggains. Her father was a Civil War casuality and her mother Hannah came with the Raines Family to Boone County, Arkansas in 1870.

Children of Bud and Hannah were:
[1] Robert Carroll born July 4, 1877, never married; died May 2, 1969; buried Harrison, Arkansas.

[2] Jane born August 31, 1880, married Sam Davis.

[3] Nancy Sarah born February 27, 1879, married Thompsy Harris.

[4] Dicie born March 30, 1883, married Lee Bearden; died October 11, 1964 at Harrison, Arkansas.

[5] James Oliver born October 15, 1885, married Dora Lay; died May 12, 1942 in Boone County, Arkansas.

[6] John Newton born June 25, 1887, married Anna Baker; died November 6, 1964 in Boone County, Arkansas.

Bud died of heat stroke in the hayfield in 1899 at Freck, Arkansas. Hannah died 1932 and is buried beside Bud in the Water Creek Cemetery.

Sarah Raines and Thompsy Harris:
Sarah was born Feb 27, 1879, she married Wm Thompsy Harris in Bruno Arkansas on July 14, 1895. She was 17 and he was 20. Thompsy was born November 4, 1874.

Their Children were:
[1]Fauba b Oct 15 1896 married Jimmy Witt, their children were: Zelma, who died age 10, b 1916 died 1926, buried in Boston Pool cemetery, Osage County, Oklahoma. Lonnie, married Beaulah Reed, Orville , Everett, Herbert, and Naomi who married Elmer Morris.
[2]Luther b June 7 1898 married Bertha Ezell, thier children were: Bert L, born July 8, 1923 and died August 15, 1924 buried BostonPool Cemetery, Doyle F was born September 4, 1926 and died September 10, 1926 and was buried Boston Pool Cemetery.
[3]Mabel b Feb 8 1900 married Oliver Brown, their children were Euna, Onina and Janis.
[4]Bertha b June 1904 married Deavy Jackson Barnett, their six children were: Bulah Idella, Uel Gene, Nelda Lee, Louie Devon, Barbara Faye, and Jackie Doyce.
[5]Virgie b Aug 31 1910 married Justin 'Jurd' Thompson
[6]Rusha[twin] b Oct 22 1912 married Ray Canary
[7]Rufford [twin] b and died Oct 22 1912
[8]Otto died at birth
[9]Hazel b April 20 1918 Married Eulis Stills
[10] Roy died in infancy

Thompsy died May 15, 1936 and Sarah died June 23, 1962. They are buried in the Boston Poole Cemetery Osage Co., Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Jane Raines and Sam Davis...Jane was born Oct 1885, the daughter of James Wm And Hannah Loggains Raines. She married Sam Davis.

John Newton Raines was born June 25 1887, married Anna Baker.

Gennevee Raines was born Oct 21 1929 to James Oliverand Dora Lay Raines. She married Thomas Bearden Oct 24 1946 at Eureka Springs, Ark.

Nova Dee Raines was born Jan 20 1933, she was the daughter of James Oliver and Dora Lay Raines. She married Howard Young.

Loy Raines was born December 13, 1937 to James Oliver and Dora Lay Raines, he was a twin. He married Sue Smith.

Noel Raines was born Oct 15 1916, son of James Oliver and Dora Lay Raines. He marrried Alma Davenport.
