Pictured is the death crown removed from the death pillow of my Grandmother's Nephew Claude, who died as a teenager in Searcy County, Arkansas. Grandmother believed it was a sign that her nephew went straight to heaven when he died.

Claude Watts is buried at Rock Creek Cemetery. Claude was son of Asa Greenberry 'Berry' Watts and Rosetta Phipps, sister of my Grandmother, Mary Malinda Phipps House.
