Andrew Scott was born August 6, 1789 in Virginia, died March 13, 1851; buried in Oakland Cemetery, Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas. He married Eliza Jones, daughter of John Rice Jones and Mary Barger. Eliza was born January 10, 1794 in Kaskaskia, Illinois, died March 5, 1835; also buried in Oakland Cemetery.

Children of Andrew and Eliza Scott:
1. John Rice Homer Scott was born October 16, 1813; died August 23, 1905.

John Rice Homer Scott married Nancy Evans Jamison December 11, 1834; daughter of George Jamison and Mary Dickinson Logan. Nancy was born May 16, 1816 in Washington County, Missouri; died October 13, 1878; buried in Oakland Cemetery, Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas.
