Mitchel Dorse Dickey

Mitchel Dorse 'Dorse' Dickey was son of Edward Carson 'Ned' Dickey and Nancy Jane Parilee 'Nan' Riddell. Dorse was born May 19, 1892 at Cave Creek, died June 26, 1987 at Harrison, buried Maplewood Cemetery. His wife was Susie Elpha 'Elpha' McCutcheon. She was born July 12, 1899 at Cave Creek, died January 19, 1982 at Harrison. 'Elpha' had the Post Office at Murray for twenty years.

Dorse and Elpha's children:

Ralph Eldred Dickey, born September 4, 1918 at Bass, Newton County, died March 7, 2002 at Medford, Oregon, buried Eagle Point National Cemetery. Married Buna Mary Fults, daughter of John Fults and Rosa Ann King, from the Boxley Area.

Nelda Kathleen Dickey, married James Wesley Burrow.

William Wayne 'Wayne' Dickey married Joyce Leona Dewar.

Jack Denton Dickey, first married Barbara Ann Jones, second marriage was to Maria Cisco.

Ford Jarvis Dickey, born June 19, 1938 at Cave Creek, died in 1997 at Harrison. His wife was Denna Faye Brasel, daughter of Ben Devoe Brasel and Mable Hutchins [Union Hill Cemetery].
