Jesse J. 'Johnny' Casey, Johnny was son of Anthony Casey and Celia Self. He was husband of Emma J. Lackey, born March 4, 1881 in Newton County. She died June 29, 1916 at Parthenon, buried Buffalo Cemetery. Emma was daughter of Amos Lackey and second wife, Sarah Baughman.

Jesse J. Casey's first wife was Mary Elizabeth McPherson, buried Buffalo Cemetery. She was daughter of Ambrose R. McPherson and Eliza Jane Carlton.
