Estate of William Johnson
July 27, 1861

The estate document of William Johnson, totaled $975.05, includes the articles sold, the amount paid, and the numerous buyers' of his property. Included in this sales list are various farm tool, livestock, bacon, honey, corn, a wagon, cotton, rental land, and many other interesting articles. Also included is the hiring of two Negro boys and the purchase of three other Negroes for one-sixth of their value.
