Emma Sue KARSTETTER for a family reunion with every member being present.

secertly for 3 years due the the fact her father (Robert Lee Patterson) did not care for Wallace. Wallace was in service in Ca.
while Delia was a school teacher. She joined him in Ca for awhile and he later went to Hawaii where he worked in the Postal
Service for the Navy. He was a farmer most of his life.
They were married for 25 plus years before her death of cancer and he remarried within one year to Mildred Nadine HumphrEy.
They too were married over 25 years before her death (originally entered the hospital with a broken hip) of congestive heart
failure or coronary heart disease.
A.W. married (1) * Delia Minerva PATTERSON, daughter of * Robert Lee PATTERSON and * Lillian (Maude) WRIGHT, on 28 Dec 1938 in Fisher, Poinsett Co., AR. Delia was born on 25 Nov 1913 in near Parkin, Tyronza Twp, Cross Co., AR. She died on 13 Mar 1971 in Wynne, Cross Co., AR and was buried in Vanndale Cemetary - Vanndale, Cross Co., AR.
Delia operated a store in the Pleasant Hill Community for 19 years. She was a leader of the Pleasant Hill 4-H Club and was
active in community work. She was also active in Home Demonstration for Cross County serving as the historian. She attended
a church that alternated services between a Methodist and Baptist congregations. Mother and daddy were secretly married for 3
years due to the fact her father did not want her to marry a younger man. She was a school teacher while her husband was in
the service in California and Hawaii. She could yodel and whistle louder than anyone else I knew except perhaps Mrs. Tarlie
Dammons (who also had two sets of twins. . 2 girls and then two boys. . . not to mention the other 3 or 4 children). Delia was
buried in the Vanndale Cemetery in Vanndale, AR.

58. Sarah Geraldine WHITE 'Gerry' (Amanda Jane WALLACE, Sarah A. BROWN, Thomas, Lived at Route 2, Harrisburg AR. He was a farmer, had lived in the Harrisburg area many years and was a Baptist. He was a
veteran of World War I. Jonathan was 67 years of age when he died (4:30 PM) on April 29, 1963. Funeral services were on a
Wednesday at 2 o'clock hat the Harrisburg First Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Downs officiating. Burial was in the Harrisburg
Memorial Park Cemetery with Langford's Mortuary in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Amanda White; a son, Wallace
White of Cherry Valley; a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine White of Harrisburg; two brothers, Richard White of Sumner, Miss., and
Henry White of Rolling Forks, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs Ester Boyett of McRae, Mrs. Martha Woodall, Mrs. Jane Crutchfield, both
of Forest City, Ar. and Mrs Eva Freeman of Cherry Valley, Ar. and eight grandchildren.
Gerry married Clarence (Otto) WHITE, son of Clarence Levi WHITE and Lula Mae YARBOROUGH, on 26 Mar 1943 in Harrisburg, AR. Clarence was born on 5 Oct 1924 in Bono, AR. He died on 2 Dec 1993 in Harrisburg, Poinsett Co., AR and was buried in Harrisburg Memorial Cemetery - Harrisburg, Poinsett Co., AR.
In 1954 Otto and a friend heard there was work to be had at the car manufacturers in Michigan so he and a friend headed up
there. They found work at Buick. After a while Otto returned to Arkansas and he took his brother back to Michigan with him
where they worked for GM in Turnstead. Aunt Gerry said that she left the kids with his mom, Lula, for 6 months while she went
to Michigan and found a place big enough for the whole family. Jimmy was born during this time in Flint.

Stan was ordained First Church on 12 May 1968 in Knobel, AR. He graduated Southern College from Walnut Ridge, AR.
Stan met Brenda at Southern Baptist College and was married less than a year later.
Stan pastored at First Church, Knobel, Arkansas where he was ordained to the ministry on May 12, 1968. Those present for
the service included pastors and deacons from Black River, Greene County, Gainesville and Current River Associations.
Moderator of the ordaining council was J. Russell Duffer, missionary, Gainesville - Current River Association. Lawrence Green, pastor, First Church, rector, was clerk. The questioning was led by Dr. Dan Harrison, Southern College, Walnut Ridge, Ark.
Hershel Murdock, deacon, Knobel Church, presented Mr. Huntley to the council. The ordaining prayer was led by Dr. Roy C.
Maddus, a professor at Southern College. Dr. Earl T. Humble of Southern College brought the afternoon message. (Brenda
worked for Dr. Humble in the music building and Stan visited her regularly.)
Stan finished his college education at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. He was pastor of a small church outside of Vicksburg,
MS. for a short time. He moved to Rt. 2, Box 53, Jackson Ms. 39209 (phone
924-7601) where they rented a home from Mr. Parker for several years before moving to Memphis, Tn.
He attended Reformed Theological Seminary.
