Leonard Jefferson Garrett was born June 16, 1810 in Pendleton, South Carolina. He married Elizabeth Dunivan. Leonard died September 18, 1886 Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas.

b. Sarah Jane Garrett, born 1839 Johnson County, Arkansas.
c. Wesley Cyrus Garrett, born August 29, 1841.
d. Jennetta E. Garrett, born 1844 Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas.
e. George W. Garrett, born 1848.
f. Dortha Ann Garrett, born June 22, 1849, died August 5, 1897.
