Know all men by these presents that I J L Byler & Lettie Byler his wife for and in consideration of certain sums of money to us in hand paid by the Directors of School District No 55 in Izard County do hereby Bargain & Sell and by these presents do Give Grant bargain Sell & Convey unto the said G. F. Turner, H B Landers & G W Byler as Directors of School District No 55 in Izard County Arkansas or their Successors in office the following Described Lands To Wit One half acre upon which the Methodist Church Stands begining with the line of fence at back of House afronting House to the Creek [West fork of the Rocky Bayou-RDH] Making one half acre. Together with all the appertainances thereto belonging & reserving the right & use of the House for Church previledges for the Methodist Episcopal Church South Seats or benches to remain in Tact, not conflecting with School. We bind ourselves, Executors & Administrators to Warrant & defend the Same.
Signed & Sealed This the 5 day of May A D 1892.

On this the 5th day of May 1892 personly appeared before me J L Byler Grantor in the forgoing deed to me personally well known and acknowledged that he had signed the within deed for the consideration use and purposes therein mentioned and desired the same to be certified And at the same time & place personally came Lettia Byler wife of the said J L Byler to me well known & after being Examined in the absence of her said Husband declared that she had signed the within and foregoing deed for the Consideration uses and purposes therein mentioned voluntarily of her own free will & accord, desired this deed of Conveyance to be certified which is accordingly done
