Joe Barron is Bound Over to Grand Jury

Officers Yesterday Arrested Brother Ernest in Connection With Alleged Crimes. At a preliminary hearing held yesterday afternoon before Justice A.B. Hays, Joe Barron was placed under two one thousand dollar bonds and bound over to the action of the grand jury next December. Barron was arrested more than a week ago by Craighead county authorities charged with burglary and grand larcery, but later, when it was found that the alleged offenses were committed in Greene county, he was arrested by the authorities and placed under bond of $1,000.
Yesterday Ernest Barron, a brother of Joe Barron, was arrested in connection with the same crimes which with Joe is charged, however, that of grand larceny, was preferred against him . Ernest was bound over to the grand jury and released under bond of $1,000
The Barron boys are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Poter Barron. Their bonds were sighned by Mrs. Barron and M. P. Huddleston. The Barrons boys are alleged to have stolen cotton, wheat and scales and cotton sacks from several of the most prominent farmers of this county.
