Jacob Marion Flowers was born 1816 in Wilson or Hickman County, Tennessee. He died before 1870 in Conway County, Arkansas. He married Eliza Jane Gilliam Duron November 17, 1843 in Pope County, Arkansas.

Children of Jacob and Eliza:
Elizabeth Ann Flowers, born 1847, Pope County, Arkansas. Married John Cooper August 4, 1870 in Conway County.

Henry Edmond Flowers, born 1849, Pope County, Arkansas. Married Elizabeth Jane Sweeden. He died before 1900 census, as she is a widow on the census. Both are buried Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Center Ridge, Conway County, Arkansas

Benjamin Franklin Flowers, born circa 1851, Pope County, Arkansas. Married Angeline Hill on March 20, 1880, the daughter of Scarlett Anderson Hill and Minerva Guinn. Benjamin died 1893 in Conway County, buried there in Plesant Hill Cemetery.

Needham D. Flowers, born circa 1852, Pope County, Arkansas. Married Sarah Stobough July 13, 1873 in Van Buren County, Arkansas. Needham died November 28, 1921 in Conway County, buried Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
