In a letter from Georgia Priest Faber (Grant's Daughter) to

daughter Ruth lived with Abner's sister Fannie for several years.
She thinks that Sacramento Ab Priest wrote that Fannie had died.
She goes on that Aunt Martha Priest's family has
"slipped away too - 2 sons in Missouri. And I believe Lucy the
youngest daughter who married late in life lives in Oklahoma."
Pauline Priest Spenser remembers that "Aunt Darl had beautiful hair."
Robert Hughey left her and she raised all the children by herself.
She is listed as a widow at the time of her death.
