Henry Hughey was born September 25, 1810 in Rowan Co., North Carolina. He was married February 7, 1832 in Lincoln Co., Tennessee to Ann Wilson, she was born March 6, 1810, the daughter of James Wilson and Margaret McElroy.

They left Tennessee in 1838 and moved to Carroll County, Arkansas, Crooked Creek Township. Henry died there of pneumonia in 1845. Ann died March 10, 1884 (Crooked Creek was by then in Boone Co., AR).

[3] Mary Louisa, born April 2, 1836 in Lincoln County, Tennessee, married Richard Carlisle Wilson (her cousin)
[4] Sarah C., born December 2, 1837 in Lincoln County, Tennessee, died October 19, 1844 in Carroll Co., AR
[5] James Stanford, born May 3, 1839 in Carroll County, Arkansas, married Elizabeth A. Lipps
[6] Albert A. 'Tobe', born April 26, 1841 in Carroll County, Arkansas, married #1 Francis Lucinda Barnes, #2 Mary E. Holmes
[7] Robert Henry, born January 18, 1843, killid in Civil War, July 1, 1864
[8] Julia Ann, born December 5, 1846, died of pneumonia March 1, 1848 in Carroll Co., AR
