Jesse Lee was born February 28, 1834 in Wayne County, Indiana to John Lee and Mary Hall. He married Sabina Pratt December 24, 1860 in Dallas County, Iowa. Sabina was born June 7, 1841 to John Pratt and Lucinda Taylor. Jesse was living near Rogers, Arkansas when he died in 1902 and was buried in Benton County. Sabrina out lived Jesse and spent the remainder of her life living with family in Missouri, she was buried there.

i. Arthur, born circa 1866.
ii. Ernest, born circa 1867.
iii. Selby, born circa 1870.
iv. Hattie Alena.
v. John, born circa 1876.
vi. Willie, born circa 1878.
vii. Charley, born 1880 in.

Daughter Hattie Alena was born November 28, 1873. She married Thomas Jefferson Richards, son of Robert R. Richards and Nancy A Rudisill. Their children:
i. Jessie Roberta.
ii. Nancy Elizabeth, January 6, 1896 near Rogers, Benton COunty, Arkansas.
iii. Robert Lee, born October 24, 1897 Benton County, Arkansas.
iv. Mallie Otis, born November 25, 1899 Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas.
v. Hattie Margaret, born in 1902, died in 1903.
vi. Laura Marie.
vii. Mildred Elaine.
viii. Thomas Jefferson.
ix. Johnie Alena.
x. Willie Ida.
