Riley Collins Ward was born March 12, 1851 Ripley, Tippah County, Mississippi, the son of Samuel and Angeline Collins Ward.
He married (1) Martha Marinda Bradshaw, August 12, 1875 in Benton County, Arkansas and (2) Nancy Lavinia Bradshaw, November 4, 1878 in Benton County, Arkansas. Both Martha and Nancy were daughters of William and Levina Mercilla (Chastain) Bradshaw.
Riley and Martha had one child:
1. Andrew Jackson Ward
born July 30, 1876, died 1919
Riley and Nancy had four children:
1. William Marion Ward
born August 4, 1879, died May 21, 1968
2. Martha Lucinda Ward
born April 24, 1882
3. Nancy Carmelia Mina May Belle Ward
born August 30, 1884,
Anzel Riley Ward
born August 20, 1887
Riley Collins Ward died February 12, 1917 Benton County, Arkansas. Buried at Fairmount Cemetery in Benton County.
