Born in 1847 to William Broughton and Dorcus Payne. First wife was Virginia Hammons; second wife was Martha Atkins. Wiley Amos Broughton is buried in Farmington Cemetery.

Item #57 Lifus and Cordelia Macon:
Rev. Lifus Jones Macon and wife, Cordelia R. Danley. Lifus was born 9 May 1853, died 10 March 1907 Hindsville, Arkansas. He was son of John Macon and Susan Quillin. He married Cordelia F. Danley November 5, 1882 Washington County, Arkansas. Lifus is buried Spring Valley Cemetery Springdale, Arkansas. Cordelia was born September 2, 1867 Greene County, Arkansas; died 6 September 1949, Washington County, is buried Wilson Cemetery, Washington County, Arkansas. Cordelia was daughter of Atlas J. Danley and Lucinda Elizabeth Kenamore.

Item #58 Walter and Myrtle Richardson:
Walter Frank Richardson (1893-1972) and Mrytle Grace (Swain) Richardson (1891-1963). Walter was postmaster in Nail, Newton County, Arkansas during the 20's along with his brother, Arch. In 1930, they moved to Washington County, Dutch Mills and bought a farm there. She is a daughter of John and Sophronia (Norton) Swain.

Family picture of my 2nd great grandmother and grandfather, Robert Anderson Medearis and Amanda Hinds Medearis with their children. Front row: Father Robert holding Park, then Blanche, Amanda

Back row: Lillian, Robert Summerfield (Summie), Taska, (John) Frank Medearis, my grandfather.

Robert b. 1 Oct 1840 Knox Co. TN moved to Washington Co. AR in 1857; died 3 Apr 1914 Westville, OK. He moved to Westville after 1906 but he & his wife Amanda are buried in Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, AR. So are many other Medearis relatives. Robert's parents Wilson Frank Medearis and Eveline Young Medearis plus also Amanda's parents: John Hinds and Rhoda Webb Hinds are buried in Prairie Grove, 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Lucinda Wells was daughter of Elijah Allison and Hannah Cornelison, she was wife of Thomas Jefferson Wells. Lucinda is pictured here with four of their children.

Item #62 C. A. Broughton Family:
Charles Anderson Broughton was son of Wiley Amos Broughton and Virginia Hammond. Charles married Nettie Neal January 7, 1897 Washington County, Arkansas. Pictured are Nettie and Charles with daughters Minnie, Julia, and Myrtle. Minnie was born 1898, Julie 1900, and Myrtle in 1904.

Item #63 Lucinda Danley:
Lucinda Elizabeth Kenamore Danley was daughter of Needham Kenamore and Elinore Kinsey. Lucinda was wife of Atlas J. Danley. Lucinda and her husband were living in Greene County, Arkansas at the time of his enlistment and muster into Company D, Davies Battalion Arkansas Cavalry. They afterwards moved to Washington County where they lived the remainder of their lives.
