Item #951 Lue Keeton VanCuren and Mildred VanCuren:
Lue Lavenia Keeton VanCuren and Mildred Patricia VanCuren in 1945. Grandma is buried in Beechwood Cemetery and I believe it is a double stone for her and William Edward VanCuren. She was born 23 April 1888, died 01 July 1969. She was daughter of Joseph Warren Henson and Virginia Jane Villines Keith Henson.

Item #952 Della Duck and Bailey Van Nichols:
Bailey Van Nichols is the father to my favorite Uncle George Nichols, who married my mother's sister Faye. Uncle Bailey as we called him, married Eula Daniel after the death of Della and had my Uncle George.

Item #955 Men at Jasper Court House:
Left to Right: Cain Bolin (father of Ruth Norton that writes the Piercetown News for the Newton County Times) Oscar Bryant, Frank Villines (the one written about in the book 'These Hills my Home') and my Grandfather Rheubin Henry 'Big Ruby' Wishon. He was 6' 7" tall and wore a size 13 shoe which he ordered from St. Louis, MO. My grandfather spelled his name Rheubin so that is how we spell it.

Item #956 Henderson Family ??:
This picture and the next one came from my mother's photo book. The one of Dexter Henderson had his name below it, and the one of James and Mary (with boy between them), was on same photo album page...these were the only pictures on that page. I hope someone can confirm this is James and Mary Jane (Blackwood) Henderson and their son Dexter Henderson.

This is the headstone of my Grandfather James Oglethorpe Pruitt. It was taken at the Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Lincoln Co., Ok.
James O. was born in Newton Co., Ar. (Capark?) 23 November 1878. Husband of Ada Odella Cathine Yates. They were married 4 February, 1900 in Newton Co., Ar.

Bottom Row #1 Emily Murray Willis Boen, 'Aunt Em' (daughter of William J and Sarah Fine Tilson Murray) (wife of Monroe Willis and George Boen), #2 Sarah Fine Tilson Murray (11 June 1828-14 February 1909, buried in Bellefonte Cemetery) (wife of William J Murray) (My Great Great Great Grandparents), #3 Sarah Fine Murray Bradley (wife of Nathan Fididly 'Dill' Bradley) (daughter of William J and Sarah Fine Tilson Murray), Baby is Mabelle McPherson (daughter of Arthur and Rentha Lee Stapleton McPherson).
The information that I have on Arthur McPherson, he was Perry Arthur McPherson, son of John Hoarse and Mary Ann Beckham McPherson, grandson of Ambrose and Eliza Jane Carlton McPherson.

Lilly May was daughter of Milas Monroe and Caroline Eoff Wishon and twin of Walter Gray Wishon. This picture would have been taken about 1912.

Item #970 Tom and Mary Wright Self:
Parents of Myra Griffin, Robert Self, Millie Bowen, Dollie Daniels, Dolphus Self, Jessie Becker, Harley Self, Mary Bell Kilpatrick, and Bessie Wilmon.
Andrew Thomas (Tom) Self was born March 8, 1876 to James William and Eliza Hood Self. He died May 9, 1960 and is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Mary Frances Wright Self was born August 22, 1878 to Hugh S. and Ellen Ferguson Wright. She died October 1, 1964 and is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery.
They were married July 21, 1896.

Item #971 James K. Polk Standridge Family:
James is on the left back row and Nancy is seated in front of him. I think Bess Standridge Garrison is next to her mother and Nancy Emma Strunk is on the right of the first row with her daughter Doshia. The other two girls are the ones Granny called Aunt Babe and Sade. They never married their names were Margaret and Lucinda.
In back, the boys are Noah on the right with Arlie in the middle with the fiddle. On either side of Arlie are his twin brothers: Lum and Doc.
If this is Doshia in the picture, she was born in 1893...she looks young so I would place the picture pre 1900.

William Joseph Henderson, 7 June 1866 Wayton, Arkansas - 29 Oct 1916, buried Wayton Cemetery.

Sons of William E. 'Bill' Daniels and Nancy Strode Daniels. The second one from left is my Granddad Wiley Calvin Daniels. Will let you know when I can name the others.

Item #975 Margaret Samantha Standridge:
Daughter of James K. Polk Standridge, born February 23, 1873 and died August 14, 1931, buried Sissom Cemetery, Newton Co. AR. She never married. She was called Aunt Babe by Granny and her sister Lucinda Sade was called Aunt Sade. They were both old maids. I do not have a picture of Sade.
