Carltons: All that was written on this picture was Carltons, it came from the Joseph Issac Carlton Family, Joseph was my Grand Dad's brother. It could be Anderson, Nancy, James and Joseph...the will said nothing about the girls. Help Identify the Individuals Submitted by Ford Carlton. Thanks Ford!

John and Mary Norris: John Norris was born 1815 in North Carolina, he died 1900 in Newton County. Mary McGuire Norris was born 1818 North Carolina, she died circa 1909. Submitted by Charles Walton. Thanks Charles!

Baz and Mary Sparks Family: This picture of the Sparks along with 4 of their 13 children was taken at their home near Deer, Newton County, Arkansas. All 13 children were raised there. The Sparks are my maternal Great Grandparents.

James Knox Polk Standridge Family: Back Row: Girl in the middle with white collar is Bess (Mary Elizabeth) Standridge Garrison, the other girls include: Nancy Emma, Margaret Samantha, Lucinda Sade, the other two are unknown.
Front Seated: James and Nancy C. on each end with Arlie next to Nancy and twins: Lum and Doc near James with one seated and one standing. The older boy inbetween the two rows is Noah. I do not think Robert Lem is in this picture as he is already passed away. He died in 1891 so this was about that time. Submitted by Betty Renfroe. Thanks Betty!

Sam (1892-1985) is son of John R. Henderson and Elizabeth 'Bette' Taylor
Martha Viola (1894-1989) is daughter of Enoch Jones and Samantha J. Hudson.
Sam and Viola were married September 23, 1917 at Parthenon, Newton Co., AR.
Duane (1922-1984), Fern, and Nora Jean (1927-1998) are children of Charles Dewey Spencer and Elnora Jones Spencer.
Elnora and Martha Viola are sisters. Submitted by Larry Henderson. Thanks Larry!

Three Ladies: Glenn Deaton sent me this picture. One on the left is Sarah Elizabeth Davis Phillips, wife of Absolm Carroll 'AC' Phillips. Middle is Mary Elizabeth Parlinda Carlton Henderson, wife of Levi, daughter of John and Debora Ann Davis Carlton Henderson. Her husband Levi is buried in Jasper Cemetery. Glenn Deaton that sent me the picture, would be her Great Great Grandson. On right is My Great Great Grandmother, Delitha Jane Davis Reeves, wife of Albert J. Reeves.
The Davis ladies were sisters, children of James and Nancy Fry Davis.

William Gregory: My Great Grandfather, William Henry Gregory, son of John Anderson Gregory and Pearl Chaffin. He was born 7/31/1887 in Reed Springs Junction, Taney County, Missouri and died 2/12/1975 in Harrison, Arkansas and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison. He and his wife, Pearl lived most of their life in Hasty, Newton County, Arkansas. This picture is of him in the United States Horse Cavalry in which he served at Fort Leavenworth, in St. Louis between 8/17/1908 and 8/16/1911.

James Knox Polk Standridge Family: James is on the left back row and Nancy is seated in front of him. I think Bess Standridge Garrison is next to her mother and Nancy Emma Strunk is on the right of the first row with her daughter Doshia. The other two girls are the ones Granny called Aunt Babe and Sade. They never married their names were Margaret and Lucinda.
In back, the boys are Noah on the right with Arlie in the middle with the fiddle. On either side of Arlie are his twin brothers: Lum and Doc.
If this is Doshia in the picture, she was born in 1893...she looks young so I would place the picture pre 1900. Submitted by Betty Renfroe. Thanks Betty!
