School in Eureka Springs, 2nd - 3rd Grade, unknown year: This picture was sent to me by my grandmother's sister. Her and my grandmother are in it, Irene Hensley and Georgia Hensley.
Taken when they had a old school on the top of a hill but that is about all I can tell you I used to know the street it was on, but my memory fails me so I would not like to tell you something that is not true. If I went there I could find where it was as my grandmother was born in Eureka and took us there every summer. She liked to tell us the history of Eureka and she was good at it, as with a lot of things we do not pay attention too when we are young I wish I had listened better I might be a little smarter if I had.
Please HELP IDENTIFY the individuals in this picture, and if you know the name of this school or year the picture was taken, please let us know.
Submitted by Ellen Rowe.Thanks Ellen!

Eliza Jane Blevins Flippo: Daughter of Black Squire Blevins and Rhoda Standridge. She married George Washington Flippo about 1867. He died in 1883 and she petitioned Boone Co. Court to obtain title to their farm. The picture is with two of her grandchildren, Wesley Mattox and Angie Flippo.
I think George and Eliza lived between Bear Creek and Harrison, AR. This was originally Carroll Co. Black Squire lived near Old Enon, AR. which was near the Mo. line closest present day town is Omaha.
